Komboskini (Orthodox Prayer Bracelet)
These traditional Orthodox prayer bracelets—known as komboskini—carry deep spiritual meaning. Each knot represents a prayer, and they’re often handmade by monks who quietly recite a prayer with every knot they tie, filling each bracelet with intention and spiritual depth.
Komboskini are used much like prayer beads: during prayer, you gently move each knot through your fingers, one at a time, reciting a short prayer like “Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me.”
To wear it, roll the bracelet onto your wrist without stretching it beforehand—it’s designed to mould gently to your wrist over time. It’s more than just a bracelet—it’s a quiet, constant reminder of faith, prayer, and connection.
