Flame-Free Lambatha - LED Easter Candle

Created in collaboration with @creatifbyisabellaanthony, this special lambatha was designed with love and purpose, to ensure every child can be part of Easter traditions safely, comfortably, and with meaning. 

For families with children who are medically complex, live with sensory sensitivities, have disabilities, or use medical equipment that makes open flames unsafe, these battery-operated candles offer a thoughtful, inclusive alternative.

They’re also a wonderful option for younger children who may be too little to safely hold a real flame, but still want to feel involved and celebrated during the Easter service.

We’ll be using one for Oliver this year, he’ll be able to hold his candle proudly, walk safely, and fully participate in church, just like everyone else.

While these lambathes aren’t traditional in the usual sense, they carry just as much meaning and intention. You can still light a candle at the church, then pass that flame on in spirit to your child or godchild’s lambatha, preserving the tradition while prioritising safety.

This isn’t about changing the tradition, it’s about expanding the circle so every child can feel the love and warmth of their culture and faith.

Details: Each lambatha is approximately 25cm in length and comes with 2x AAA batteries included. Packaged in a beautiful clear case with gold handles. A small button is located underneath the candle, which lights the soft flame when pressed.
